And here is Primrose.

No, Primrose is not one of the new dolls who are now featured in our Etsy Shop... she is in fact the beautiful yellow caravan who features below and who is currently undergoing a makeover of her very own.  We are really enjoying doing this and I am not sure if we are going to sell the caravan (probably not actually) but it is incredible fun to do and I will be posting photos as we go along.

A New Start

Here is our latest arrival of Blossom & Friday girls ready for their make under/ repaint.  Each ones is cleaned and has a hair wash before repainting begins. ..

Here you can see I have highlighted Daisy.  Daisy had her portrait taken this evening in the orchard amid the apple blossom, as she is making an appearance in our Etsy Shop.

Daisy has light brown/ dark blonde hair and blue eyes, she wears a vintage style floral dress, woollen socks and paper clay vintage style boots.

Welcome

Well, here we are. Welcome to my little blog! This space is a place for me to present some of the things I make. At the moment I am working on some Bratz/ Fashion doll repaints. I was so inspired when I first saw Sonia Singh's Tree Change Dolls that I simply had to have a go. My daughter and I loved the whole process of changing these dolls and we became somewhat hooked. Each little doll has her own character that develops as she undergoes her 'make under' and each outfit is lovingly handmade from vintage fabrics, wools and other finds. This site isn't just about the dolls, there will be lots more to follow as I push myself to create more and more. It's what I love to do... So my plan is to develop that and share as I go along. Here is one of our first make under dolls. Her name is Alice. She has a woollen jumper and vintage style floral skirt. Her boots are made from paper clay and her messenger bag from real leather. Alice is for sale in my little shop on Etsy. She's fabulous and honestly, I will be sad to see her go but we have lots more dolls in the process of undergoing their transformations too and we can't keep them all! Here she is...
